Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers, like Juvedèrm and Restylane, are an injectable gel made of hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a natural substance in our skin that gives it a plump and hydrated look. This cosmetic procedure is performed by an advanced practice provider by injecting filler into the skin of the lips, cheeks, jawline or hands to soften wrinkles and restore volume loss and fullness.

What to Expect

  • A topical numbing cream will be applied to ensure you’re comfortable for your treatment.
  • Dermal fillers are carefully injected into targeted areas using a fine needle or cannula. The hyaluronic acid (HA) in the filler attracts water, helping to reduce wrinkles, restore lost volume, and contour facial features like the cheeks and jawline.
  • Temporary injection site redness and swelling is common and usually goes away within hours. Swelling is common for a few days and can last up to 2 weeks
  • Results are immediate and last anywhere from 6 months – 2 years or longer
