INJECTABLES

Diminish Facial Lines, Restore Volume and Fullness

Botox & Dysport

Toxins like Botox and Dysport are cosmetic treatments designed to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. They work by relaxing specific facial muscles, providing a smoother and more youthful complexion. The procedure is performed by an advanced practice provider to achieve a natural look.

Frequently Asked Questions

Toxin injections work by blocking nerve signals to the muscles in the treated area. This temporarily relaxes the muscles, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Discomfort during toxin injections is typically minimal and brief, often described as a slight pinching sensation. Many providers use fine needles and offer topical numbing agents to enhance comfort.

The injection process is quick, generally under an hour in duration. We make every effort to respect your time and get you home to relax quickly.

The effects of toxin treatments are temporary and can vary by individual, but they typically last around 3 to 6 months. Regular maintenance appointments are recommended to sustain the results.

Common side effects are mild and temporary, including possible swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection site. Serious complications are rare when administered by qualified professionals.

Yes, toxin treatments are designed to provide natural-looking results. While muscles are relaxed, you can still make normal facial expressions. The goal is to soften wrinkles without freezing facial movement.

You will need to lay low for at least 2-3 hours after and refrain from any active motion or movement around your face.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal Fillers, like Juvedèrm and Restylane, are an injectable gel made of hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a natural substance in our skin that gives it a plump and hydrated look. This cosmetic procedure is performed by an advanced practice provider by injecting filler into the skin of the lips, cheeks, jawline or hands to soften wrinkles and restore volume loss and fullness.

Questions about Injectables & Fillers

Recovery time varies for each patient and for each type of filler injected. You can resume most activities right away, but it is generally recommended that you avoid intense physical activity for the first 24-48 hours to minimize swelling and bruising.

Your initial appearance after treatment with any dermal filler may include:
– Mild to moderate swelling or bruising
– Temporary redness
– Palpable lumps or hard areas at the injection sites

The results of soft tissue augmentation using dermal fillers are apparent immediately and will last from several months to several years depending on the filler used and the patient injected. Maintaining good overall health and maintaining healthy and strong skin with appropriate products and skin treatments will improve the results and longevity.
